Infant Jesus, Peruvian Highlands, 18th Century

18th century, 8 1/2" high Spanish Colonial Infant Jesus, Santo Nino del Mundo, made of handcarved wood, sky blue glass eyes and multiple old carnation paint. Right thumb and all fingers are missing and left hand seems to have been restored many years ago. It will include a newer two piece vestment and original silver sandals. Outer vestment is hand sewn made of embroidered gold and yellow fabric. Inner vestment is not shown and is made of simple cotton camisole with hand stitching. Silver sandals are original to the figure and are custom fitted. Beautiful shiny natural patina due to old age.
