This is a 19th century solid silver flower stick adornment for a santo found in the Andean Highlands of Peru. It is heavy in weight (58 grams), 14 3/4" long made for a large santo. The stem is made of solid helicoidal thick silver. It is a very rare item so that they are modern reproductions, but the original such as this one are never matched. One only of this kind.
