Crucifix CZECH Republic 19th Century

This is a gothic style cross with Jesus Christ corpus and INRI insignia. It came from the CZECH REPUBLIC, hand made and hand carved. Over 120 years old in museum condition. Unusual nailing of the hands nailed in a V- shape and the cross has short horizontal bars. This cross is made from two kinds of wood - cross is made dark wood and the corpus is made of lighter wood. The cross may be hung up on the wall with the original iron handmade hook. Dimensions of CROSS = 19-1/2" high and 6" wide, JESUS = 13-1/4" high. Weight = 1 lb – 3 oz.
